It’s our “Time to travel” ….

L:  Last night, at our bible study (after the lesson), we all huddled around the radio – like the old days, listening to our first radio interview on our trip.

Karen Key – producer and presenter of SAfm (104 – 107fm) Time to Travel asked us to come in to the SABC in Sea Point for an interview about our trip – this is the result…….Click below, select the download option and wait patiently for the recording to download.

A big thank you to Tony at Tony’s Auto in Sea Point for the very kind assistance in loosening the nuts on the tie rod end assemblies that was giving Steve grey hair – or should that be “more” grey hair!!

S:  We spent an hour or so at FNB arranging the forex and travel card.  Thanks to Lyn and Melissa at the Blue Route branch.  What great service.

Lesley was told to fetch her Schengen visa, but has not been able to pick it up yet as she has not been feeling too well :-0.

L:  I took the bakkie for wheel-alignment after Steve replaced the steering components.  It now drives as if it is on rails – what a difference.

Filled the 2 gas cylinders – I was a bit shocked at how expensive it is now…..

We are now at 26 days and the time is just going so quickly.  Can’t wait.
